Do you accept insurance?+
I don't accept insurance directly. This is a self-pay practice.
How much does therapy cost?+
Sessions are $129. A limited number of reduced-fee spots are available, starting at $100 per session. If cost is a barrier, tell me what would be sustainable for you and we will talk about it. You do not need to provide any financial documentation.
Do you offer telehealth?+
Yes, all sessions are held via secure, HIPAA-compliant video.
What areas do you serve?+
I work with clients located throughout Maryland and Washington, DC. I also work with clients living and working abroad.
What ages do you work with?+
I work individually with adults and adolescents ages 13+. I also work with families, including younger children in the context of family treatment, with parents taking part in sessions. For adolescent clients, an initial conversation with a parent or guardian is typically part of getting started.
How long does therapy usually take?+
It varies. Some clients come for a focused handful of sessions around a specific issue; others prefer ongoing, longer-term support. We'll check in regularly on how things are going and adjust as needed.
What's your cancellation policy?+
Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice; missed sessions without notice are billed at the full session rate.
Is what I share confidential?+
Yes, with the standard legal exceptions common to all therapy, such as risk of harm to yourself or others, or suspected abuse of a minor or dependent adult. I'll walk through this in detail during your first session.
